Northeastern Pennsylvania will see many changes. The largest is moving the 115th Legislative District (currently held by Democrat Frank Farina) into Monroe County. The 112th Legislative District (currently represented by Democrat Kevin Haggerty) will move into much of the area the 115th District previously occupied, prompting a Primary Election contest between the two legislators if both decide to continue serving in the House.
Representatives for the new districts will be elected in the 2014 Election.
