Happy Birthday Obamacare!

Two short years ago President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (also goes by the alias OBAMACARE).

On March 23, 2010, President Obama took steps to:

Create $525,000,000,000 in new taxes on the American people.

Create $43,000,000,000 in new Medicaid costs for the 50 (not 57) states.

Increase health insurance premiums on young people by $504 dollars a year.

Cost the American People 1,760,000,000,000 over the next 10 years.

Cut Medicare and Medicare related programs by over $500 billion.

End Medicare as we know it.

Remarkably, 17 people still support this legislation in Lackawanna County as evidenced by the video below:

You might think that you are safe from Obamacare since President Obama said if you like your current plan you could keep it. Not so fast. Obamacare is likely to leave more than half of all employers without a grandfathered plan. And, if you work for a small business (like most Americans do) it could be as bad as 80% without a grandfathered plan.

This video goes over some of the other broken promises of Obamacare:
