Toomey on Healthcare

Former Republican Congressman Pat Toomey penned an op-ed which ran in the Times Leader. You can read it here.

In it, Toomey states that the Healthcare bill will wrap patients in red tape, denies choice, costs American jobs, and fails to address costs.

Toomey suggests instead that Congress address consumer costs, increase tax deductions to cover healthcare, allow insurance purchases across state lines, and pass serious medical malpractice reform legislation.
