The Morning Call reports that Democrat US Senator Arlen Specter is continuing his attack on Democrat Congressman Joe Sestak over the issue of missing votes. Specter alleges that Democrat Sestak has missed 15% of votes in 2009. Democrat Sestak missed 55 votes or 3% during the 2007-2008 session, according to the story.
Sestak responds stating that Arlen Specter voted with the GOP 62% of the time which is actually the root of the problem that caused him to jump ship. Conservatives long decried Specter's liberal slant. It is somewhat ironic to see his fellow Democrat using it against him now.
